Bell Tower Cottage
Accommodation details
The cottage, which is situated under the bell tower of a Georgian manor house, has recently been converted to luxury accommodation, opening for guests in May 2022. The property is generously proportioned and well-appointed, providing everything needed for a blissful escape in a beautiful and peaceful part of East Anglia.
The ground floor of the cottage is mostly open-plan and guests have a spacious and social area in which to cook, eat and relax. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen, as well as a microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and oven with induction hob. The usual crockery, glassware and kitchen utensils can be found in the kitchen cupboards and there are recipe books on the shelf. There is a round oak dining table where guests can serve up a meal and enjoy delicious food together.
In the living room area there is a log burner (logs are provided), a smart TV, a DVD player, a comfy sofa and an armchair.
In the study there is a large desk, upon which guests will find a portable bluetooth speaker, and beyond the study is a luxurious bathroom with a cast-iron slipper bath and a separate shower.
In the bedroom, which is upstairs under the bell tower, there is a king-size sleigh bed, a dressing table, a full length mirror, plenty of storage space for clothes and a small smart TV.
The private garden is fully enclosed and has a patio and a lawn. The garden is overlooked by the cottage's veranda where guests can sit and relax. There is a BBQ, fire bowl and a table and chairs.
Although joined to The Ryes, Bell Tower Cottage is an entirely separate property with its own garden, and it can only be accessed through the cottage's front door.
